Install and sign in
Download the app from the Download page and install it like any other program. There are builds for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux.
On first launch, click "Sign in with browser". Sign-in opens in your browser and the app receives the session on its own.
Your first task
Open the Code tab, click "New task" and choose a project folder. Describe the task in your own words, for example: "The cart test fails on an empty order, fix it".
The agent reads the code, makes changes and runs the tests. You see the work log in the feed and the changed files in the right panel.
To refine the result, write a follow-up in the field under the feed. The agent continues with the same context.
Modes
Agent reads and edits files and runs commands.
Ask only reads the code and answers. It changes nothing.
Plan studies the code and writes a step-by-step plan without touching the code.
Changes and rollback
Every edit the agent makes appears in the Changes panel. Accept or reject each file separately, or all at once.
Rejected files return to their original state, and files the agent created are removed.
Permissions
The agent asks before commands that change your system: installing packages, deleting files, git push, network requests.
Reading files and running scripts from package.json need no approval. "Allow in this project" remembers the answer for the folder.
Project rules
Put a PEORIX.md or AGENTS.md file in the project root: how to run tests, the code style, what not to touch. The agent follows these rules in every task, on your computer and in the cloud.
Cloud tasks
In the web app, open Code and connect GitHub. Pick a repository, describe the task and click "Run".
The agent works in an isolated environment on our servers, on a separate peorix/* branch. The result arrives as a pull request. You can turn your computer off.
Plans and usage
Token usage and plan limits are in the web app: account menu → "Plan and usage". During the beta payments are not available yet: the free plan runs on free models.
